DSG WATERWORKS

Dakota Supply Group (DSG), an employee-owned company founded in 1898, provides over 65,000 products for a large array of industries including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, communications, utility, automation, waterworks, on-site sewer, water and well, filtration and metering.

The building size necessitated a complicated code review and adherence process. The new DSG location contains a two-story office area on one end, with the remainder classified as an S-1 moderate hazard occupancy area. Compartmentalization was considered but the project was ultimately given a sprinkler system to allow flexibility for operations and expansion.
